It was a glorious day at Hembury Fort Nursing Home, with raffle, local stalls selling bric-a-brack, The Society of King George the Third (SKG3) demonstrating their rifles and cannon  And to top it all we were there with class members! Thank you to all the class members for coming along and to everyone for joining in, including the residents, and a big thank you to Hembury Fort House for inviting us we had a great time.   Hello Everybody Following Chris’ big fundraising birthday bash, we handed over the cheque last Wednesday to Eric Smith from Hospiscare. During the course of the party, Chris held an auction of various items and with plenty of bidding together with everyone filling up buckets and tins we soon reached the grand total of £640.12 Thank you to all who came along and supported Chris; we both feel very honoured to have such a good following. Hello Everybody Chris’ birthday party was a tremendous success, one which we will not forget in a hurry Thanks to everyone that came along and joined us at the Beehive, Honiton. It was an entertaining and fun evening for all, also thanks go to Gambler Duo for keeping us all on the dance floor, very professional and smart looking they were too. Hello Everybody Our 6th Annual Dinner & Dance went very well at Lakeview Manor, thank you to all who came along. As always we had a great time, excellent food and good company followed by some good dances. Not all were played from the playlist but we tried to get as many in as we could. Chris gave us another unique teach of his new dance “Still In Love With You” and also taught his other two dances as well (Couldn’t get him off the floor!) Check out the gallery here A quiz was on hand as well to keep everybody busy through the lunch, and a balloon making competition which produced some very interesting results. It was a lovely day which soon came to an end. Hi Everybody Thank you to the Lyme Regis Operatic Society for inviting us back for the 5th year running, and to everyone who came along for an enjoyable evening. It was wonderful to see so many joining in. Well done to Anita, Yvonne, and helpers for the excellent ploughman’s supper and cakes. Hello Everybody It was nice to get back to our classes after the festive holidays, and with everyone raring to go we managed to remember all the dances. Our new beginner class at Exeter Sports Academy is coming on well. It’s only been a short while, but I can see this is going to be a good class in the making with lot’s more people sharing a new hobby with us.
