Hello Everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your amazing support in the classes. We always have such fun together in the mornings and evenings! Speaking of support, we had a wonderful time at Lake View Manor for our Annual Dinner & Dance! What a perfect day at a stunning venue! The food was absolutely delicious, the dancing was fantastic, and there were plenty of laughs to go around. Your support truly means the world to us! The event kicked off with some refreshing drinks outside in the sunshine, and then we moved inside for lunch. As always, Mr. led us in saying ‘Grace’ in his unique style, and it brought lots of chuckles! Lunch was served promptly at 1:00 PM, and oh my, we were treated to a delicious three-course meal served by the wonderful staff at Lake View. They really made us feel special! Once everyone was fed and ready to go, we hit the dance floor and danced our hearts out until 6:00 PM! Happy Christmas, Everyone!   Hope you’re feeling excited for the day ahead. A huge thank you to all our class members — your cards were beautiful, and the gifts so thoughtful. We truly appreciate your kindness and support; you make our classes such a joy.   Join us for Bob’s workshop at Broadmayne Village Hall on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. Everyone welcome! For more details, check out the poster below. Our Annual Dinner and Dance is on March 21st! Menus will be available in class soon; spaces are limited.   Classes start back on Monday, January 5th, at Colyford Memorial Hall, Tuesday 6th Exmouth Pavilion 10 am and Exeter Countess Wear 7 pm beginners, followed by Improver at 8 pm, Wednesday 7th Beehive Honiton, beginners 7 pm, followed by 8 pm Improver/Intermediate class. Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. It’s been a while, so here’s a quick update on what’s been happening. Time is flying—it’s already November! Classes are going great, and I want to thank all our members who have been attending regularly, even during those hot summer months. We truly appreciate it. With the success of the classes, Hontion Charter Day in July, and several private parties, it’s been a busy time! All the dances recently taught have now been added to the dances pages. We have a Christmas Social at The Mackarness Hall, 7th December from 2 pm. With a Bring and Share Buffet, Tea and Coffee provided. All welcome, DJ Feed is now open. REQUEST HERE. In January, I’ll be teaching at Bob’s New Year’s Workshop and Social at Broadmayne Village Hall in Dorset. If you’d like more info, let me know, and I’ll send you the details. 22nd March 2025 Hello Everyone. Our Annual Dinner & Dance which took place at Lakeview Manor on 22nd March, photo’s are now ready for your viewing in the gallery. We are still getting so many nice comments from you all, so thank you for those. Thank you for your texts and e-mails, and the ones I like the most are when you come up to us and thank us for having a wonderful afternoon of food, fun, and dancing. The rundown for the day as follows:- An early start to get ready for our guest which started to arrive at twelve mid day, Mr said lunch will be served at 1 pm on the dot, so all of you were ready for the off, but first in his usual way Mr had you standing for ‘Grace’ which was said in his comical way which left you all once again with the giggles. Lunch was served, and a lovely feast it was, so thank you to ‘Lakeview Manor’ for all your hard work on the day. Hello Everyone I want to thank all who took time out to attend our Christmas Social at Mackarness Hall.  Due to the adverse weather conditions that continued into the morning of the social, it was touch and go, but in the end, we decided the show must go on! We danced 33 dances of varying levels ranging from Beginner to Intermediate {see the list of the dances below}, and everyone had a great time. Also, check out the pictures in the gallery from the afternoon 😀 The half-time quiz was well-received by all, which added to the atmosphere. Congratulations to the winners who won candy and chocolates 😉. Thanks to everyone, we both had a great afternoon. Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well and keeping warm with the varied weather we’ve been experiencing lately.  First and foremost, I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who travelled to Bournemouth with us this November, for the Beginners’ Weekend at the Durley Dean Hotel, hosted by ELD. It was a fantastic weekend filled with fun times, lots of dances, plenty of laughter, and, of course, delicious food. Special thanks to Jamie Barnfield, our instructor for the weekend, who taught us numerous dances, both old and new. Your hard work in keeping us dancing was greatly appreciated! We also enjoyed live music from the fabulous Richard Palmer and the incredible Billy Curtis.  Saturday night’s fancy dress theme was titled “Emergency Services.” We were in need of the services accompanied by two doctors it was quite a sight, with all the blood we were covered in  – check our gallery for the photo’s of the weekend! On Sunday evening, Jo Winson took over from Jamie and kept the dance floor filled playing our requests.
