Hi everybody It was a lovely warm Sunday afternoon when we had our tea dance at Colyford, but that didn’t stop you coming along and having some fun. Our thanks go to Mr Bob Francis for his teach “A Little Too Late” it went well as did all the other dances. And of course for the lovely selection of food on the buffet table, Chris was in his element 🙂 We got through 32 great dances. A good time was had at Kilmington for the fundraiser with the Axminster Operatic Society at the beginning of this month. Thank you to the Axminster Operatic Society for inviting us back, it was lovely seeing so many getting up and joining in, making the evening so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you all again next year. Our next social is at Colyford Memorial Hall, Sunday June 1st. Doors open 2.15pm dancing starts at 2.30pm. Hi Everyone Well I did say that the weather forecast was not good for Sunday, and while it rained outside we were having fun inside. Hi Everyone Welcome to 2014 Our New Year’s Eve social went very well with quizzes, plenty of laughter, lots to eat and most important of all our favourite dances being played. We were very privileged to have Emma singing for us. She was excellent, with a lovely personality and superb voice. The evening flew by and before I knew it we were singing ‘Old Lang Syne’ wishing everyone a Happy New Year. We managed to get some more dancing in, then the time came for everyone to make their way home. Hi Everybody Time is moving along fast, spring has sprung (hopefully the warm weather will be along soon!) and we have plenty of line dancing ahead of us. All classes are going well and as usual plenty of old and new dances to choose from. We will be going to Exeter for a Line dance demonstration at Princesshay Shopping Centre. So if you are in Exeter on June 22nd come along, say hello and join in the fun. Our demonstration will start about 2.30pm. I will be teaching to encourage the shoppers to join in. This proved to be very popular in the past and great fun. We had our social on Saturday, it was a brilliant evening with lovely company (photos on the gallery page) I would just like to say a very big thank you to everyone who came, your support is greatly appreciated.
